erodr is a location specific social network that caters to college students. Basically it generates a set of post from based on your geographic proximity.
They currently have an app on the android and apple market, but I hated the design. So I redesigned the branding and the app for fun and sent it to erodr. They expressed some interest in appropriating it, but nothing has came of it since.
Spiffio is the result of wanting to combine features of Vine, tumblr, and reddit.
Vine: I took simple navigation, category filtering, and commenting (although I zebra striped the comments to make it a bit easier to chew on)
tumblr: two column layout and a focus on creating and sharing images (similar to imgur as well).
reddit: Voting system to encourage users to make the site theirs by allowing them to determine what lives and dies on the site.
I’d love to build this for real so if any devs are interested, hit me up and lets make something!
Conquer is an idea I thought of in the shower. Basically it’s a playful jab at startups trend toward gamification, so I made conquer to reward merit badges to users for completing everyday and special tasks.
Once I get a better handle on java I’ll build this out for fun, I had a blast designing the Parisian Nights and Mile High Club badges, and I would like to have a reason to make more
Mashup of Golden Eye 64 and the Golden snitch from Harry Potter. I thought this shit was brilliant but it failed to get any traction on t shirt contest sites.
Infographic I made in college about piss. It now proudly hangs over my toilet.
Sketch I did for a digital painting class in college. Roommate at the time had tons of coke merchandise so I covered up the poorly drawn mouth with the Coca-Cola logo.
Tshirt designs I made for he freddiew channel on youtube. Troll Patrol design was ultimately printed and sold in their store.
I designed a bunch of fitness shirts in the last couple of weeks while broswing reddit.com/r/fitness.
Thinking about making a kickstarter campaign, let me know if you’d be interested in that sort of thing.
Show Me is an app that a coworker and I kicked around a couple of months ago. Basic premise is that its a scavenger hunt app. I designed this after we talked about it. Didn’t end up making it to code, but I’m still fond of the design.
